St. Conleth's College - Senior School
We welcome everyone back for the new school year 2012-2013 and in particular all the new boys from First Year to Sixth Year. We also offer a warm welcome to the girls who are joining us for the first time in Fifth Year. To the graduation class of 2012 we extend our congratulations on your outstanding results in this year’s Leaving Certificate. Your success and achievements reflect both your own hard work and the dedicated teaching you receive. We wish you good luck as you take up your places in college.
In the preamble to our revised Mission Statement, we acknowledge that as a school we strive to enable our students to arrive at a fully rounded character, rooted in Gospel values. Being a small, tightly-knit community, our Catholic ethos and family atmosphere underpin our entire educational philosophy. To this end we welcome the continuous support of parents and guardians, recognising their primary role in the students’ growth and development.
We are justifiably proud of the Department of Education & Skills' recent appraisal of St. Conleth's which gave a “resounding endorsement of the work of the school”. This is in no small way due to the commitment and expertise of the teachers in providing a caring, disciplined and happy environment for excellence. Long may it continue.
Peter Gallagher, Principal
